[sounds of distant trains passing through]

I’m standing by my bedroom window, you can probably hear the train from the distance. I moved here a few months ago and I love it, because yeah there’s a big train station nearby, but it is at the right distance to make all those iron creaks and clangs warm, nostalgic even romantic. I love to wake up in the morning with this gentle touch of sound to my ears. The wake up is the crisis moment for me. It’s when I think about all my mistakes, all the things I’ve done, I’ll do. Lately, I’ve been thinking about how much effort I’ve always put in my life in jumping on the right train. Be on time. Never miss a ride. Always be careful to not take the wrong direction. The result is: I’m not where I want to be now. It’s time to throw the timetable away. Let the train drive you, open yourself to the unexpected and see where it’s going to take you.
